Adult Basics Group Dog Training Class

Not A Bully Dog Training offers group training focusing on basic manners, important commands and much more. 

What Your Dog Will Learn

Our Adult Basics Class focuses on building trust with your dog while learning basic manners. 

Class curriculum includes:

  • Teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, come, place, and “look at me”.
  • Encouraging positive social interactions with people and other animals.
  • Stress-free handling for veterinary exams, grooming, and nail trims.
  • Understanding how dogs communicate and learn.
  • And more!

To attend, your dog should be:

  • Over 6 months old
  • Current on all vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper Combo Vaccine (DA2PP or DHPP), and Bordetella
  • No history of aggression towards other animals or people
  • Not currently experiencing symptoms of infectious respiratory illness, vomiting, or diarrhea

Frequently Asked Questions About Adult Basics Classes

We can have two pet parents per dog attend! All attendees should be at least 16 years old. 

Zoie Keast teaches all Adult Basics classes for Not A Bully Dog Training’s Colorado Springs location. Zoie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) with 12 years of experience training dogs and managing behavior programs in animal shelters throughout Colorado, Nevada, and Wyoming.

Classes will be held in the Old Colorado City area of Colorado Springs. 

Each class will have a maximum of 6 dogs per class. 

We aren’t able to offer any refunds but we try to work with every client to make sure they get the lessons they need. That could be a private session or working them into another class.
